Cosmetologist

Duties and Responsibilities: A cosmetologist has to keep their work stations clean. They have to make appointments with their clients. They can do things such as removing facial hair or dye hair and cut it. They have to study the facial features, see what kind of style they have, and make recommendations in order to do what the client wants.

Salary: $23,710 per year

Education: They are required to complete a training at a certified cosmetology school to get licensed. These programs take 9-12 months to complete, the specialist programs take about six months.

Demand for this profession: Cosmetologists help clients update or change their appearances.
