Veterans Day

Veterans day is a public holiday held on the anniversary of the end of world war one to honor veterans and victims of all wars. Veterans day is celebrated on November 11. The purpose it to honor the ending of world war one. It is important to show honor because the veterans and victims risked their lives for ours. So we should be thankful that they did so much just to keep us safe and keep our country safe. Some ways to show honor is by, maybe lighting a candle who the people who lost their lives, show respect towards all veterans, show that we appreciate what they did for us, send a little something to the places where they support veterans, or maybe help out homeless people because some veterans stay without homes.

I think celebrating veterans day is a good thing because we get to thank and honor the people who risked their lives for this country.
