class evaluation

1. The things i liked about this class is that we didn't have to right on paper and that we learned many things about life.
2.  Some things i didn't like about this class is that we did the same things all over again. 
3. To finish work on time and remember how to type because you'll need it in the future.
4. The highlight for me in class was to always do good in life and not be a bad influence to others.
5. Yes i did do my best in this class because i wanted to pass it with a good grade.
6. No i am not reading my life planning journal everyday, sometimes i don't remember other times i just don't feel like reading it.
7. Yes i am committed to be a CTR person because i want to be a good example to people and be successful in life.

This video was about a class who had a test and there was this girl who wanted to cheat and get the answer from another girl. The girl who knew the answers thought about something that had happened in a class in college. It was about a college with pure guys in that class and they had an exam and the professor walked out and left them alone. Everyone decided to take out a paper that had answers on it and were cheating on the test. Then this one guy stands up and tells the guys about honesty and that if the didn’t put the papers with answers away he was going to tell the professor that they were cheating on the test. Everyone decided to put the cheat paper away and do the test on their own. The girl thought of that and told the other girl that he couldn’t give here the answer. I learned that you should always be honest and if you know something is not right to do then you shouldn’t do it.

“When you tell one lie, it leads to another”

This quote means that if you lie then one lie can cause many other lies. Even though you didn’t want to lie again you would have to lie again or say the truth. You got yourself into that situation so you should get yourself out of it. When someone lies about something they do it because they are in trouble or because they want to cover somebody. You shouldn’t lie about anything because if you lie then you can probably end up making things worse. You should always tell the truth whether it’s bad or good. If you say the truth things might end up better than what you expected. If you lie about something you can make makes things worse than what they already are because you can get yourself in trouble or somebody else. If you’re trying to cover up for someone that person can get you or even your family into trouble. That's why it is always good to say the truth and avoid lying because with the truth you can solve everything.

‘The sting of the scorpion”

I learned that you should always listen to what is important. You should listen because if you don’t something bad could happen. For example, Patrick Kearon  chose to wear his sandals instead of his shoes to go on an adventure. He said he would go quickly so he decided to put on his sandals. Then he got stung by a scorpion because he didn’t listen to his parents. He could have died if he wasn’t rushed to the nearest hospital, which was 2 hours away. That’s why you should always obey the rules because if you don’t you will have to face the consequences. When you do something bad there will always be consequences, but when you do something good there will be good consequences. Don’t think that just because you will go for a while you won’t see what can happen in such little time.

“Always do right”

This quote is saying that you should always choose to do good things no matter what. Every time you do something you should do it the right even though you’re having a bad day or you’re in a rush. If you do something the wrong way you probably won’t like the results because you didn’t do it right. When something is done right it is because you chose to do it the right way. When something turns out to be wrong you didn’t do it the right way for some reasons. For example, if you want to go have a family dinner with your family you should plan thing a little earlier. That way you don’t have to be in a rush and do things at last minute, you should do things the right way and don’t be stressed out over something. If you do stuff right maybe other people that don’t would like to begin doing right because of you. You should show an example of how you should always do things right because this world is becoming into something bad and you shouldn’t take life for granted. Show yourself as an example to other people so they could know that doing bad stuff doesn’t take you through a good path.

“It’s better to be alone than to be in bad company.”

This quote means that it is better to be independent than to have others with you at times. It’s saying that what you do is always better to do alone because with others people judge and criticize what you do. That is why it is always better to be alone and not listen to what others have to say about you. You shouldn’t be a follower and do what others do or tell you to do because that won’t take you to good things. You be your own leader and do what you want to do. Always listen to yourself when you are doing good and accomplish stuff by yourself and not with other people. If you want to do stuff with other people you can. Just make sure they don’t tell you what to do and take control of what you are doing. Some people you know may not be the best of people because you never know what they might do or say about you because they can lead you too many problems if they are bad people. Be independent and stay away from the people a=that want to hurt you or stop you from your goals.

World War II

1. September 1, 1939 and September 2, 1945
2. There were two groups  of countries who fought, on one side there was Germany, Italy, and Japan. On the other side there was Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China, and the United States of America.
3. It took place in Russia, Europe, Africa, Pacific Ocean, Asia, Middle East, the Mediterranean Sea, Scandinavia, Eurasia, Southeast Asia, and the Atlantic Ocean.
4. Some of the events that happened during World War II were Germany invades Poland, the Battle of Midway, Stalingrad, D-day etc.

We can honor and show respect by just knowing that they risked their lives for us and our country and just have in mind that we should appreciate that because maybe without them fighting for this country, we wouldn’t be in this country.

These questions mean that if people have trust in you, you should have trust in yourself because you should always have faith and trust in the things you do or say. Some people may say that since other people don’t trust them they don’t trust themselves. If other people don’t have trust in you that shouldn’t matter because only what you do matters and you should have trust in yourself no matter what. You should know when people respect you and if they do you should respect them back because that shows that you want to be treated how others treat you. You should put yourself in a place where you know you can do whatever you want at the best of your ability. If you think you can do best at what you do then you will do your best. As long as you set your mind to what you want to do best you will accomplish it the way you want. You should always treat other the way you want to be treated because if you don’t, don’t expect them to do something nice in return or do something bad. Only you know what is best and you know if you should do it or not. People should trust you as long as you do what you do best and can treat them with trust and respect.

Challenges Teens Face Today

Today teenageers face many problems like depression, drinking, drug issues, bullying, body pressure etc.. We face many problems because we may not feel like we have the best body or best attitude. Some people may go through this this because they want to numb their pain by drinking or smoking or trying to commit suicide. You can solve your problems other ways like talking to close friends or family.

1. Some of the major challenges teens deal with today are eating disorders, drinking and smoking, abuse, underage pregnancy, bullying, stress, and cyber addiction.
2. I don’t really deal with any except when i get stressed which is rear and i try not to stress much about stuff that aren’t important.
3. Being a CTR person can help me overcome these challenges by choosing what  i should do and what i should not do.
4. I can help them by talking to them and asking what kind of problems they go through and if they ever did anything to stop it in order to get rid of it.

The greatest need teens have today is money because teens these days just want to party and buy food or go shopping.

“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. Intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.”

This quote means that only when your body is healthy you can do whatever you want and help out yourself and even other people. When your body is healthy you are capable of many things. You can do stuff when your body isn’t healthy just that your body is a little more weak than when it’s healthy. You should have a powerful mind because that’s what makes us function best. It controls us and makes us do whatever we want. Without the mind being powerful we won’t function as well. We choose how we want our body to be either healthy or not healthy. Whether we choose for it not to be healthy or to be healthy we will always take control of the choices we make.

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities: A health science librarian conducts research on different medical topics. These librarians are in charge of arranging and distributing clinical information texts. They are skilled at producing detailed bibliographies related to many different health fields. They are employed in various settings like health organization libraries, health information centers, and medical schools.

Salary: They make  $52,000 per year.

Education: To become one of these you must complete a high school education with courses in science, math, and information technology. You also need a bachelor’s degree followed by a master’s degree in library science.

Demand for profession: They help out in elementary schools and secondary schools. Those who have specialization in computer science and database field will likely find even greater opportunities.

No i don’t think i would like to be one because i don’t like working with computers.

“Manners maketh man”

This quote means that by having manners and being respectful it makes you the person you are. It helps you grow as a person and makes you realize what you do wrong or right. People have manners most of the time because they like to show that they are responsible and respectful. Some people don’t have manners because they don’t show respect and only care about themselves.By showing manners many people will like how you are because they know that you will probably be nice. Some people may be disrespectful or not be nice but they can still have manners. Even though they may act mean while being polite they still have manners and that’s what matters. For example, if i’m the way of something and someone tells me to move in a polite way then it’s enough for me to move and be respectful like the person i am. Or if someone tells me to move in a disrespectful way like shoving me i don’t have the right to move because they were being mean, but being the person i am i’ll ignore it and let them go. You should always be polite and have manners for those who are mean or nice because at the end of the day you are yourself and no one can change that.

“If it is not right, do not do it; if it is not true, do not say it.”

This quote means that if you know something isn’t right you shouldn’t do it and if you hear something that is not true you shouldn’t say anything. For example, if you see someone getting beat up and you know it’s not right to jump in, then you shouldn’t do that because you will suffer the consequences. If you hear someone saying “this person said something about this person’’ you shouldn’t believe them because you don’t know if it is just a rumor. You shouldn’t go around saying stuff you just heard knowing that you don’t know if it’s true or not. If someone tells you to go get drunk at a party and you know that’s not right you shouldn’t follow what they are doing. You shouldn’t go around saying stuff that didn’t come out of other people’s mouths because if you didn’t hear that come out of their mouth you shouldn’t believe it. Always make the right choices because that is always a good thing to do good and show that you and responsible and honest. Keep what you hear to yourself and never go around spreading rumors about people because there is karma and it will get you back. Always do you and choose what you want to do and say.

Veterans Day

Veterans day is a public holiday held on the anniversary of the end of world war one to honor veterans and victims of all wars. Veterans day is celebrated on November 11. The purpose it to honor the ending of world war one. It is important to show honor because the veterans and victims risked their lives for ours. So we should be thankful that they did so much just to keep us safe and keep our country safe. Some ways to show honor is by, maybe lighting a candle who the people who lost their lives, show respect towards all veterans, show that we appreciate what they did for us, send a little something to the places where they support veterans, or maybe help out homeless people because some veterans stay without homes.

I think celebrating veterans day is a good thing because we get to thank and honor the people who risked their lives for this country.

1. Have the courage to say no.
2. Have the courage to face the truth.
3. Do the right thing because it is right.

These statements mean that you should be brave enough to show what you you can stand up for yourself. It also means that you should be allowed and let yourself be more aware of what you do and who you hang out with or get along with. You should be able to choose who you hang out with because if you choose to hang out with people in bad steps most likely you will end up  like them. That is why you should always choose to be with good people who care for you and show you that you will be safe with them. People may think that just because you don’t hang out with them and you don’t want to do the things they do, they’ll think that you’re lame or boring. You shouldn’t let that get to you because if you don’t want to do bad stuff and end up like them, that is good for you. It is good for you because you’ll know that you made the right decision.

The Gainesville Tornadoes

This video was about the opponents supporting the tornadoes and cheering for them when they scored. When one team scored all the fans from both teams would cheer. If the tornadoes would score the vanguards and the tornado fans would cheer. Both teams would cheer because they believe that it is good for them to support each other even if they are playing against each other. The vanguards asked for their fans to cheer for the tornadoes because they didn't really have anyone to go support them and watch them. Thevanguards thing that their should always be support and encouragement for everyone.

What this quote means is that the best you can do is do good in life. Whatever you do in life leads you to the path you chose to be in. Whether it was a good path or bad path. If you chose to do good in life you are heading to a good path if you you chose to do bad you’re heading to a bad path. When you do good in life you feel good about yourself and feel accomplished. When you do bad in life you don’t feel good and you feel like you’ve failed. You should always choose to do good in life because you never know what could come your way by just a little small thing you did for someone or yourself. Always do good for the people around you and for yourself.

Homecoming 2016

Homecoming is an event for high schools, colleges, or a university game where students from the schools are invited. Homecoming usually centers on football games. This event usually occurs on the Friday or Saturday of spirit week. This dance is sometimes used for a special night to go out with your boyfriend or girlfriend. This is celebrated because of a pep rally the dance follows the homecoming game and a queen and king are crowned during halftime of the game. All of this encourages student to have school spirit and pride. Schools also do it for other sports like soccer basketball or hockey games, it’s not just football. It is called a homecoming game because it a a tradition where people, towns, high schools, and colleges come together, usually in September or early October.it takes place every fall and is a very important highschool event.

“Right is right, even if everyone is against it;and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it.”

What this quote means is that right is right even though people don’t agree with it and wrong is wrong even though  people  agree with it. When you do something right some people may not like it but if you do something wrong people may like it. Doing something right is good because when you do the right things everything works out. When you do something bad you do it the wrong way and everything has a bad side and consequences. For example, if you choose to help out a homeless person by giving them money or buying them a meal someone else may see you and say “why are you helping out this person, they could find a job and make money”. You chose to help out this person even though people may say stuff, only you know you did right and wanted do it. If you choose to do wrong and not help out a person in need people will be for it and agree to not help out. That is not the right thing to do you shouldn’t be selfish and only care about yourself. You should always do what you think is right and what you know is right. Choosing to do the wrong stuff will not lead you to any good.

“Don’t sacrifice what you want the most for what you want now. Write down what you want most and see often”

This quote means that you shouldn’t let go of something you really want for something that’s not worth it. If you set a goal to accomplish but sometimes you want to choose other stuff to do over that goal. It’s not the best  thing to do because then you won’t accomplish your goal and it will take longer to accomplish. For example, if you want to get good grades in school by studying, going to tutoring, or doing extra work to get the grades you want it is good. But you choose to watch tv or be on your phone all day, that’s not going to get you to what you want. You have to challenge yourself and do everything you need to do in order to get what you want. Other than that if you don’t show effort to get good grades you won’t get the good grades or whatever you set yourself too. You have to set yourself to do what you want and not do something else instead of that because then you won’t accomplish it. Set it in your mind and encourage yourself to do it as soon as possible because you don’t know what will happen and nobody else will do it for you. Sacrifice yourself for what you really want and not for what is not important.

This quote means that a name that you here can be an example of someone who is successful and valuable in life. Someone you know that is successful is someone who you think is a good example to many people and is a person who will do anything to get what they want. A person with a good name is someone who does good things for people or chooses to be successful and make others happy. For example if you hear a famous person like Zac Efron you think he is a rich guy with fame and that he is good at everything but maybe he’s rich from the inside too, he has a good heart and likes to be happy. Veterinarian

Duties and Responsibilities:Veterinarians examine, diagnose, and treat animals they also prescribe and administer medication. They take cell and tissue samples and perform diagnostics tests like performing surgery on animals. As small vet you may perform services such as spaying and neutering, setting broken bones, treating wounds, and providing care for older pets.. Veterinarians who care for larger animals often engage in production medicine which involves treating an entire herd to prevent diseases. You may also advise farm owners o animal feeding and production concerns.

Salary: $86,640 per year]

Education:   A pre-veterinary bachelor's curriculum includes coursework in animal biology, genetics, chemistry, physics, and animal nutrition. They must attend one of the 28 american veterinary medical association schools. You must be licensed by your state. The requirements for licensing include a DVM degree and successful completion of the comprehensive north american veterinary licensing.

Demand for profession: Candidates should expect very strong competition for available veterinarian positions, especially in companion animal care.

This quote means that a person that chooses the right is a champion. Whoever wants to do the right things will be a good person because of what he or she does. If you to be your own kind of champion you have to choose the right path and do the right things. If you think that by doing bad stuff you will become a champion you’re not thinking straight. Doing bad stuff doesn’t lead you to  good path it leads you to bath path and i don’t think people want to end up in bad steps and think they’re doing well. When you do good things for yourself or for other people that makes you a champion and maybe others think you’re one too. If you believe you can do something you want you can do it either on your own or with the help of other people. People are going to tell you bad stuff or judge you but you have to avoid them and keep doing what you do. What you’re doing is for yourself and not them. They are not doing the work for you so you shouldn’t  worry about what others tell you. At the end of the day you got what you wanted and you feel like a champion.

Environmental Health Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities: An EHS is someone who inspects environmental health systems to make sure they are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. They review permits or collect and interpret data. They are private corporations and work with federal government. There are international organizations and nonprofit organizations. ESH also monitor and educate others. They perform inspections and investigate complaints. EHS are principles of chemical properties, ecology, toxicology, chemical waste, and biostatistics.

Salary: $31,359 per year

Education: An EHS needs a bachelor’s degree. They need occupational health, safety, or a comparable scientific discipline. Voluntary certification is available through professional organizations. Work experience is important through internships or otherwise.

Demand for profession: As the increasing demands placed on the environment by population growth, is expected to demand for environmental scientists and specialists.

I don't think i would like to be one because i'm not into science.

''Goal setting is goal getting. Set and get.''

This quote means that whatever goal you set you will get it. If you say you want to accomplish a goal you will accomplish it. If you don't that means you didn't want to or you didn't want to accomplish that goal anymore. What you want you will get even if you have to suffer in order to get that goal. When you set your mind to do something you really want then you will earn that goal and all the ones you want. If you can't accomplish you goal that means your'e not doing everything you have to do or your'e doing something wrong. For example, if you want to join a sport and that's your goal then you should set your mind to it and accomplish it. If you don't accomplish that goal and you really want it no one else will do it for you because it's your goal and nobody else will do it the way you want it. Set up all your goals and accomplish them on time and don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it because you can. If you listen to those people and not to yourself you will make your life hard and you will make yourself think that you can't do it but you can.

Columbus Day

Christopher Columbus was an explorer and navigator, he was born in 1452 in the republic of Genoa, Italy. When he went into the Atlantic Ocean in 1476 he almost died. He participated in several other adventures to Africa. He was determined to find a new water route west from Europe to Asia. Though he didn’t really discover the new world millions of people already lived there. He has been credited for opening up the Americas to European colonization. In 1492 Columbus left Spain in the Santa Maria, with the Pinta and Nina along the side. Christopher Columbus day is a U.S holiday that represents the landing of Christopher Columbus in the new world on October 12, 1492. It wasn’t celebrated in all states or cities as early as the 18th century, but didn’t become a holiday until 1937. Although, many cities and states are shifting away from celebrating Christopher Columbus day because they are finding out the real history behind Christopher Columbus. My thoughts over Christopher Columbus are that he discovered many things that we probably wouldn’t know today but we do now and we get to learn more about history.

This quote is saying that when you choose to do the right things it becomes your goal and once it becomes your goal you make it even better and you don't let it go down. It doesn't matter how much you work for it or how much you stress over it all that matters is that you accomplished it and you're happy with it. When you accomplish you goals and you do it with obedience that's what makes yourself better and make you want to do better. If you obey and do what you need to do then do it because that may be your goal, to obey and feel good about yourself. For example, if you have a goal to make someone happy or do something nice for someone and you do it because you want to and obey whatever there is to do then you accomplished your goal. You want to strive to do best and obey because that's the best way to accomplish your goals. If you set your mind to your goals and do them the right way then you will get what you want and the way you want it to be. Accomplish your goals the way you want to accomplish them because nobody else will do it for you and won't do it the way you want it to be.Obedience is what you need to do in order to get what you want. Always be the best person you can be and be obedient for other people but mostly for yourself.

Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities: Their job as a doctor is to undertake patient consultations and physical examinations. They do surgical procedures and organize workloads. They assess and plan treatment requirements, monitor and administrate medication. The must know how to work long hours, often under procedure. They should have good practice skills and the ability to solve problems. They should also have good communication skills, compassion and good bedside manner. They should be honest and open and act with integrity.

Salary: $179,782 per year’

Education: Doctors must obtain two degrees and clinical residency. Both degree programs typically include medical course work. Medical school consist of four years of medical training and education.

Demand for profession: It is projected due to increase demand for health care and aging population.

I would like to be a doctor when i grow up because I’ve always to be one.

This quote is saying that whatever you do you have to learn how to do it in order to do it correctly and the way you want it to be. People always do stuff there way and want it to be perfect. Sometimes it turns out to be good but sometimes it doesn't come out the way they want. In order to do something you should know how to do it and to know how to do it you should learn first. Either you do it your way or another way. As long as you get it your way and your fine with it then it's good. If you do stuff the wrong way you won't be pleased with what you have or do because it didn't come out the way you wanted it. For example, if you want to learn how to play soccer and you do it on your own it would work out and the way you like to play. If someone else teaches you and you don't like how they are or they don't teach you the right way then you won't learn as well as you would yourself. When you learn something and you are willing to complete it then you will be happy with what you have and do.

Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and responsibilities: EMT are the health care professionals who initially assess the condition of the patients and determine the necessary course of action. They respond to the emergencies arising out of casualties such as criminal violence, natural disasters, fires, air, and land accidents. The skills these medical technicians should have are very good communication skills, problem solving skills, physical strength, physical strength, listening skills, interpersonal skills, and compassion. They should go to the scene and provide basic life support before the victim is transported to a hospital.

Salary: $31,700 per year

Education: Join programs which lead to certificates and associate’s degree. They have to have certain things such as a high school diploma, age requirement. Fitness test, and background checks.

Demand for this profession: EMT medical technicians help save lives by providing care and transportation to a hospital during emergencies.

Maybe i would like to be a EMT in the future if i change my mind. I would like to help out people.

This quote means that what you do will tell you how you are going to be. If you choose to do good in life you will be a good person. If you choose to do bad in life you will be a bad person. You are you’re own kind of person and no one can tell you what to do or what not to do. Whether you choose to do bad or good that is what you’re choosing to do and people can’t tell you to stop. If you know you want to do good in life then you will do everything to keep on going and accomplish that. If you choose to do bad then you will keep on going but if you want to stop then that would be good for you. People will always tell you stuff to bring you down or others will encourage you to strive on what you want. Only you know what you should do and what not to do, if it’s good or bad you do it and see how far it takes you. You should always do you and do what makes you happy. Whatever you do you should do it for yourself and not for the people that surround you, everyone will always have something to say either bad or good, but only you know what you want.

Ear Nose Throat doctor

Duties and responsibilities: These medical doctors are responsible surgical and medical treatment of the ears, nose, and throat. Specialized skills of otolaryngologists include managing disorders of the upper pharynx and oral cavity, voice box, ears, nose, face, and neck. Almost all these doctors handle cases like nosebleeds, infected mastoids, and sinusitis. They usually work in clinics, and hospitals they may work as medical school directors, hospital administrators, teachers in medical schools, and directors of research.

Salary: $344,086 per year

Education: They need a undergraduate degree of four years of college and university. Medical degree for four years of medical school. They need to train for 5 years. Training in sub specialty of choice such as the head and neck for 2 years.

Demand for profession:as the elderly population continues to increase there will be growing need for professionals who can treat and manage hearing loss and other specific needs of the elderly.

No i don’t think i would like to be one i want to be a doctor but not one that works with only ears, nose and throat.
