This quote is saying that he didn’t want to be the best coach , he just wanted to do what was right and best for his team. He wanted them to succeed and show what was the best for them. He wasn’t just there basketball coach he was someone who they could talk to and trust. The players and fans all showed him love just like how did , he didn’t think of himself as a big famous person. He was just like others who showed honesty and love to his people. He was an important person to his players who always supported him and he always supported him. This is something everyone should know because just because you’re someone who is known you’re still a human being and has feelings just how others do. People who want to show others what’s right are people who care for you and want the best for you. They’re the ones who want to see you succeed in life. You should always want the best for others even if others don’t want the best for you.
